The Future - Flexible Packaging

Sustainable Packaging

In recent times we have seen increased focus on the well-being of our oceans and sea life creating a noticeable surge in enquirers from new and existing brand owners looking for real & viable sustainable fully “RECYCLABLE” and  “BIO MATERIAL- Plastic FREE” solutions, look no further reach out today.

We at Innopack take our corporate social responsibility seriously and have recently begun engaging with Cellulose & PLA BIO Material creators in Asia, Europe and the US. These relationships will allow us to expand our current product base and offer alternative more environmentally friendly sustainable printed flexible packaging products such as bar wraps, pre-made pouch’s and barrier films that are 100% “Industrial” and “Home” compostable to AS4736 & EN13432 international standards.

If the Compostable route to market is not a good fit for your brand we have developed a range of flexible laminate structures with medium to high barrier properties suitable for most food & beverage applications that will adhere the New Zealand (SoftRecycle Scheme) & Australian (RedCycle) recycling standards.

However, this research has uncovered some major constraints within the New Zealand and Australian infrastructure around the collection and processing of such materials.  As a member of ‘The Packaging Forum’ we have direct access to a vast amount of data to ensure we keep abreast of the industry and central government strategies.

We will continue to foster our relationship with all New Zealand and Australian infrastructure stake holders and innovators in the recyclable and composability field. These multi-layered relationships will provide innovative, sustainable cost-effective packaging solutions together with information in this ever-evolving space.

More importantly we wish to provide the correct information to our new and existing brand owners so the correct pack format in the correct route to market is developed and launched without misinformation or confusion.
